Who
PhytoMaps helps the people responsible for golf courses, estates, parks and sports turf protect what they've built. We do that by giving them an ongoing, fairway-by-fairway view of where their turf is thriving, and where something is quietly going wrong.
Where
We're based in Limburg, in the south of the Netherlands, and we work with courses and grounds teams around the world. Our customers are technical practitioners (superintendents, head greenkeepers, estate managers, agronomy consultants), and we built PhytoMaps to talk to them as peers.
Mission
Our mission is simple: replace guesswork with foresight. The earlier you can see a problem developing, the smaller and cheaper the intervention. The better the picture you have of the course, the better every decision gets, from irrigation to fertiliser to where the head greenkeeper spends Tuesday morning.
Journey
PhytoMaps started as a drone-based turf analytics company, flying multispectral missions and turning the imagery into reports greenkeepers could act on. That's still at the heart of what we do. Today, some courses fly their own drone two or three times a week and send us the imagery; others let us handle the flights, including the deeper seasonal scans we run in spring, summer and autumn. What's new is the always-on satellite layer running above it: continuous, zone-level monitoring with no flight or hardware needed.
Audience
Today we serve golf courses first and foremost, alongside estates, parks, sports turf operators and the agronomy consultants who advise them. The needs are different in detail, but the underlying job is the same: keep a complex green space healthy, with a small team and a finite budget.
Languages
We work in English, Dutch and German, and we'd rather have a precise conversation in the right language than a vague one in the wrong one.
